The 8" hard vinyl Betsy McCall that was popular in the 1950s has been reissued by Robert Tonner Doll Company a few years ago. The line is now called Tiny Betsy McCall.
Tonner also makes a 16" Betsy McCall but she is his own sculpt, and has no 1950s counterpart.
Madame Alexanders 16" Elise that someone mentioned has not been reissued, but there are 16" Alexander dolls that use the Elise face mold. Look out for Coco (some years back), Ivana Trump, and there?s quite a few nameless MA 16" dolls with that face.
Cissy has been reissued in various versions by now - there?s reissues of Cissys as they looked in the 1950s in the Yardley Collection, there?s modern versions of Cissy and there?s a less expensive 10" version called Coquette Cissy.
Cissy has also had a 10" counterpart in the 1950s that was called Cissette. MA produces Cissettes to this day, some of the newer ones share the Coquette Cissy body.
Then there?s Patsy and her smaller version, Patsyette (reissued by Effanbee), Honey (reissued by Effanbee), Toni (reissued by Effanbee).
Ginny is another 1950s doll that is still around today, she?s made by Vogue Collectibles.
